Binki is a very sweet and loving Leo that was left at our front door during the wintertime in 2022. He was frozen in the box and had to be thawed out. Binki was covered in marks on their face from being bit by other leopard geckos. It was clear to say he was kept with others that bullied him. He does now have a scar under his eyelid from where he was bitten. He was also very malnourished and super skinny. Binki didn't have any color to him and was almost all white from lack of good health and nutrition.
Binki has had a lot of time working with the vets and our staff to get him to how he looks today. The only thing that will need to be noted is he does have a reoccurring hemipene plug problem. His hemipene does get plugged occasionally and will need to be pulled. Just using clean hands or gloves and gently pull it out after soaking him in warm water for 10 minutes or so. He is completely healthy now otherwise, but this will be something that he needs to be cared for. Because of this, he will not be able to be kept on actual substrate and will need to be kept on a clean paper towel, carpet, ect.
We did have to syringe feed for a long time but once he got better, he discovered all the variety of foods he liked to eat. He currently likes crickets, roaches, and a variety of worms!
Overall Binki is a happy and healthy Leopard Gecko that does need some extra TLC ready to find their new forever home!
As with all rescues we require a photo of the enclosure with you next to it, as proof of the size and setup.
