Description

Worm came to us severely neglected. It is unknown if Worm was not eating for their previous owner or simply not fed. They had a large scar on their back, presumably from being fed live rats. You can see all of this in the before pictures in the listing.

Worm has recovered beautifully. They are fully hydrated and have put on a ton of weight. They never refused food for us and have taken frozen/thawed rats the whole time. An amazing eater for us through and through.

Worm has always been very shy, and will recoil when picked up. This has lessened over time but they still need a little work to feel comfortable with people. They are not aggressive or defensive at all and simply need someone to spend lots of time with them.

Worm still needs to put on weight but they are clear of any parasites and will continue to gain weight over time with normal feedings. We are looking for a long term loving home for Worm who will love them and care for them after everything they've been through.

We do not reveal the sex of rescues as we do not intend for them to be used for breeding. And as with all rescues we require a photo of the enclosure with you next to it as proof.
