Beans is a boa who was given to us months ago and was previously adopted, but got returned due to being nippy. Beans is an excellent snake and strong eater, though stunted for their size. They are between one and two years old and currently eating frozen/thawed small rats.
Beans is not aggressive/defensive when handled properly, though they can strike if they think they are being offered food. But when picked up correctly they relax and hanging out with you willingly. Because of this we recommend Beans to a home experienced with boas or larger snakes. Truly, Beans is not a difficult snake, they can just be intimidating if you're not familiar with snakes and would not make a great first time boa or beginner snake in general.
We do not reveal the sex of rescues as we do not intend for them to be used for breeding. And as with all rescues we require a photo of the enclosure with you next to it as proof.
