This snake is one of 52 ball pythons that were shipped to us from Alaska seeking rescue. A majority of these snakes were neglected, with some arriving in critical condition. Most of them had snake mites, were underweight or severely emaciated, had upper respiratory infections, stuck shed, and some had masses that required surgery. Thanks to the UW School of Veterinary Medicine, we were able to get these snakes the medical attention they desperately needed. These snakes have been in our care since 6-25-26, and are now mite free, up to weight and ready for their forever homes!
Side note - most of these snakes will have a stronger feeding response from being underfed.
