Glass tree frogs are an arboreal species native to Central and South America. These frogs can get up to 0.8-1.5 inches. Females being slightly larger. Due to their size they won't require a large enclosure but still a decent size. These Frogs can live 10-15 years making them a big commitment pet. These frogs can make great pets but just like any amphibian, they are going to be a “look-but-don’t-touch” type of pet. Frogs in general tend to dislike handling and will try to get away if possible. Frogs and toads have sensitive skin and when being handled, the oils on our hands are actually harmful to them.
