Central American banded geckos are a terrestrial species that can get 6-7” native to Central America. Due to their size, at minimum, they won’t need a huge enclosure but still a decent size. Central American banded geckos can live 12-20 years making them a big commitment pet. Due to their skittish nature and highly defensive behavior, these geckos are best suited as a display pet as they are not big fans of handling.
