Adopted - Pogona vitticeps 'Bearded Dragon' - "Margo"

"Margo" was a rescue approximately 6 years old that we received on March 13, 2022. When we received her, we thought "Margo" was dead. We took her in irregardless and started working with the vet and getting the proper meds for her. Margo had a respiratory infection, Skin infection, and had a very contagious illness called "Yellow Fungal Disease" where gloves had to be worn in order to care for her. "Margo" you couldn't see their eyes, nostrils, or ears from all the layers of shed overlapping her head. Needles and small tweezers were used in order pick out the layers of shed so she could smell, see, and hear again. She also had severe mouth rot as well. 

We worked very hard to get her back to health and "Margo" started showing that she was willing to battle through this with us. We started shots everyday on her. She started to get the strength to walk and drink water on her own. We did have to syringe feed for a while until the point where she was interested in chasing bugs on her own. 

At about 6 months "Margo" was starting to show her true colors and bright personality. "Margo" loves to be around people and craves to be babied. She started her first shed and her bright colors started peeking through the shed. 

"Margo" is an outstanding eater and will always be ready for her next meal. "Margo" is a very strong bearded dragon and will be missed here at Reptile Rapture but "Margo" is ready to find her new forever home!

As with all rescues we require a photo of the enclosure with you next to it, as proof of the size and setup. We also do not divulge the sex of our rescues as we do not intend for them to be used for breeding.
