Zoo Med Reptisun Mega Compact UVB Lamp

Just like we need the sun, reptiles need specialized lighting in order to thrive! With out proper lighting reptiles can become sick and develop illnesses like Metabolic Bone Disease. See features below to help determine if this is the perfect size UVB lamp for your enclosure and animal!

• Lamp will provide benificial UVB up to 42" from the lamp
• Lamp must be a minimum of 10" away from animal at all times, any closer to than 10" will be the "Danger Zone". If using without a screen, maintain a minimum distance of 11". This is to ensure the UVB strength is not too much for your animal.
• Suggested distances are as followed:
• 11"-18" Zone(Mid Day Baskers/High UVB): Bearded Dragon, Uromastyx, Curly tail Lizard
• 19"-28" Zone(Mostly full sun/Moderate UVB): Iguanas, Marginated Tortoise, painted turtle
• 29"-36" Zone(Partial sun/Low UVB): Anole, Chameleons, Day geckos
• 37"-42" Zone(Shade dwelling/Minimal UVB):Crested geckos, corn snakes, leopard gecko, dart frogs
• This lamp will provide UVB for a period of 12 months when used 10-12 hours per day. Record date of first use on lamp and replace after 12 months
• Energy efficient, only 65 Watts
