I love my Savannah Monitor! As I've said in other reviews Monitors get large and do your research to give them the best possible life. Baby monitors can be a big flighty and or bitey because your are big and possibly a predator to them. They can calm down with age as well. Our Savannah had quite a temperament on her but once she realized we are not a threat to her she now comes to her window of her enclosure when she wants to come out I open it she crawls onto my hand and she hangs out with me and often times crawls on my head or on the couch. Like I've said make sure you do your research on any reptile you decide you may want so you can prepare for the costs of bugs, food, enclosures, supplies for cleaning and keeping bugs. As well as time you need to have time to spend with your reptiles some often will study and learn your habits. Monitors and Tegus are very smart
