z (OUT OF STOCK) - NORTHERN WHITE LIPPED PYTHON - WC baby MALE, Leiopython albertisii

It's been a couple days since I received my White Lipped Python from here. I don't usually write reviews unless something is very good. I just have to say how impressed I was! First off, the packaging was perfect. Very safe for the little guy. I liked how they shipped to a hub instead of my address. While this may seem a bit inconvienent, it's very hot out right now and I was happy to pick him up so he wasn't exposed to extreme temps. I originally forgot to send my hub address, and did so after I placed my order. The staff contacted me about it and were very professional and polite. So a good experience with the company for sure. Now, the animal himself was very beautiful. I was worried he was a bit dehydrated when I took him out, but it turns out he was just deep in shed. On his first night, he gave me a perfect one piece shed, which tells me that they had kept him within good parameters. I ended up offering him a f/t mouse the day after, because he and my corn snake eat the same size, I figured if he didn't feel like eating yet I would just give it to her as long as he didn't strike it. Well, the little guy is definitely not gonna be a problem feeder! He took it fast and started eating quickly. I figured I may have to feed him live or pre killed for a while, so I'm glad he took the thawed mouse. As for his temperment, he did tag me once, however he seems more flighty than defensive for sure though. He would rather run than bite. He only bit me when he was in the bag, probably due to being stressed from shipment and felt cornered in there. When I got him out, he stopped trying to bite and rather flailed a bit before calming down. He will probably tame down well, honestly I was expecting a little biting machine and was pleasantly surprised he only bit once. I wiped him down for mites, because he is wild caught, and he had none. I'll still do a fecal, but it's likely he is healthy. Overall, I'm very impressed with him! His iridescence is already showing, he's not too thin, he's happy to eat, and I feel like once he stops being scared and I begin handling him after a few meals he will tame down wonderfully and make a great pet for a snake hobbyist like myself. I'd definitely buy a snake from Reptile Rapture again.
