Mossy leaf tail geckos are an arboreal species of gecko that can get 6-8” native to Madagascar. Due to their size, at minimum, they won’t need a huge enclosure but still a decent size. Mossy leaf tail geckos can live 10-15 years making them a big commitment pet. Because they are skittish, very fast, and can get stressed very easily, these geckos are more of a display pet. These geckos should never be handled as handling can cause severe stress for these camouflaging geckos.
