Asian Forests are a terrestrial species that can get 4-6” that are native to South Asia. Emperors can live 5-10 years making them a big commitment pet. Asian forests are generally shy, secretive, and defensive rather than aggressive. While they are popular beginner pets, they are more skittish and reactive than the gentle Emperor Scorpion. When threatened, they prefer to stand their ground with an intimidating posture, using their large pincers for defense.
