Ornate uromastyx are a terrestrial species that can get 12-15” native to the Middle East. Due to their size they will need a large enclosure. Ornates can live 15-20+ years making them a big commitment pet. Ornates are widely considered one of the easiest Uromastyx species to tame. Babies are much more flighty and skittish but with proper handling they tolerate it well compared to other species, but should always be approached slowly and gently.
