Egyptian uromastyx are a terrestrial species that can get 2-4’ making them the largest species of its genus native to North Africa and the Middle East. Due to their size they will need a large enclosure. Egyptians can live 20-60 years making them a big commitment pet. While they can be skittish as babies, with proper handling, they can be incredibly docile, calm, and hardy as adults.
