Red eyed crocodile skinks are a terrestrial species that can get 7-10” native to New Guinea and the surrounding Islands. Due to their size, at minimum, they won’t need a huge enclosure but still a decent size. Red eyed crocodile skinks can live 8-15 years making them a big commitment pet. These lizards are strictly display animals as they stress easily with handling. However, with immense patience, owners can build trust and tame them for hand or tong-feeding.
