Florida kings are a terrestrial species native to Florida. These snakes get up to 4-6ft. Due to their size, they won’t need a huge enclosure like others but still a decent size. Florida kings can live up to 15-20+ years making them a big commitment pet. These snakes make great beginner pets as they are curious, docile, and easygoing as they mature with proper handling. They do have an intense feeding response and can be nippy if mistaken fingers for food.
