Fish scale geckos are an arboreal species of gecko that can get 3-8” native to Madagascar and Comoro Islands. Due to their size, at minimum, they won’t need a huge enclosure but still a decent size. Fish Scale geckos can live 10-20 years making them a big commitment pet. Because they are skittish, very fast, and can get stressed very easily, these geckos are more of a display pet. They are also prone to ripping their skin off as a defense mechanism when distressed.
