Adopted - Pogona vitticeps 'Bearded Dragon' - "Bones" 6+ Years Old

"Bones" is a 6+ year old surrendered Bearded Dragon that came to us due to owners no longer being able to care for them anymore. 

"Bones" was on the thinner side when they arrived here with us but has gained more weight from being here. 

They love food! Anything that moves in front of their face, "Bones" will go after. They might accidently bite thinking that your hand is food, so going slow and cautious to avoid this situation is key.  It may be recommended to have a household with no children for this reason and for being a bit spastic at times as well. 

Once out of the cage, "Bones" will calm down but can be a little nervous. It will help for someone to work with "Bones" on this to help them feel more comfortable being out with people. 

They love roaches, crickets, super worms, and will eat all of the greens in the dish!

"Bones" is a happy and healthy Beardie that would be best for a home that can work on this feeding response and help calm them down during the handling process. 

As with all rescues we require a photo of the enclosure with you next to it, as proof of the size and setup.
