Marbled pygmy frogs are a terrestrial species native to Southeast Asia. These frogs can get up to 1-2 inches. Females being larger. Due to their size they won’t require too large of an enclosure but still a decent size. Marbled pygmy frogs can live 5-8 years in captivity. Though they don't live long like other amphibians, they are still a big commitment pet. Marbled pygmy frogs can make good pets but just like any amphibian, they are going to be a “look-but-don’t-touch” type of pet. Frogs in general tend to dislike handling and will try to get away if possible. Frogs and toads have sensitive skin and when being handled, the oils on our hands are actually harmful to them.
